Michael’s passion is around solving complex engineering problems while maintaining high velocity, with emphasis on building distributed and highly concurrent systems, creating (a real) large-scale infrastructure, and improving operational efficiency.

Currently he’s an architect @ AppsFlyer, the world’s leading mobile attribution & marketing analytics platform.

Rotem Bar    

Rotem Bar has over a decade of experience in the security field including penetration testing both application and network, design reviews, code reviews, architecture reviews, tech management, and of course development. Over the years Rotem has gained experience in a diversity of industries from the financial services, to insurance, through high-tech & the automotive industry, along with other complex environments.

In the last couple of years Rotem has been working in concept design and development, pen testing and working with hardware in CYMOTIVE, which is a company that focuses on end to end cyber security for the automotive industry. Today he is an application security expert at AppsFlyer, the foremost mobile attribution and marketing analytics platform in the world. During his free time, Rotem plays with robotics, bug-bounty and and enjoys traveling with his family.

Ido Barkan    

Ido is a Software Architect at Appsflyer. His entire career revolves around some type of backend software engineering. He considers himself as a big fan of programming languages in general and a fan of functional programming in particular.

Mey Beisaron is a public speaker, a Node.js, Clojure and Java developer and a software engineer at AppsFlyer. When she is not spending her weekends at hackathons, she experiments with algorithms or learns languages such as russian, french and italian. Mey is also a sworn star wars fan. May the force be with you.

Adi Belan    

Adi Belan is a 15 Year veteran of the industry who started his career in research and prototyping of Telco grade solutions. After running the real-time back-end operation at AppsFlyer for more than four years, Adi is now focused on architecting a multi-region and datacenter application architecture and design . He loves to figure out a clever solution to difficult problems and prototype new stuff, really enjoys watching high scale systems at play, while he hates seeing them break down.

Roei Berkovich is a software developer at AppsFlyer, who for the past 5 years, has focused mostly on React. At AppsFlyer he is working with React & React-Native. He also writes a tech blog @ react-israel.co.il and founded JSsnippets (facebook page)

Ronen Cohen     

Ronen Cohen is a software engineer who enjoys architecting systems for scale. He is passionate about everything software: from OS internals to distributed computing, weird data-structures to functional programming. Ronen is a tech lead at AppsFlyer, helping build systems to process the influx of petabytes ingested monthly - to help fuel its next phase of growth. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Technion.

Dror leads AppsFlyer's Deep Linking & Engagement development team. He has vast experience and knowledge in both Frontend and Backend development. He loves implementing complex projects in high-scale environment, focusing on resiliency, quality and amazing UX. Most of all he strives for innovation, learning new technologies and implementing great products.

Morri Feldman joined AppsFlyer as the first member of our data team about 4 years ago. Before AppsFlyer, he was in academia training as a Biophysicist. Since joining AppsFlyer he has been loving the fast pace of development and exciting technologies that used to handle the enormous scale of AppsFlyer data. Most of his coding at AppsFlyer is in Clojure with some work in Scala for Spark jobs. The functional paradigms in Clojure really help to quickly write correct code that performs well in a multi-threaded environment. Morri holds a PhD in Biophysics from UCSF.

Guy is a business outcome focused security executive with experience in various fields, including a heavy focus on cloud security, risk, IR and privacy management strategies. Guy has built teams from scratch, and has created and executed long term strategies, along with communicating the importance and strategic nature of product security to executives and board members. He serves at the CISO and DPO at AppsFlyer.

Alon has been with AppsFlyer for more than two years. Originally a backend developer he has transitioned to lead the real time infrastructure team, and took on the role of bringing some of the most heavily used infrastructure in AppsFlyer to the next level. A strong believer in sleep driven design, Alon’s main focus is stability and resiliency in building massive data ingestion and storage solutions.

Eran Harel    

Eran Harel is a Software Craftsman, who loves coding, and challenging software projects, as a full stack developer, focusing on building scalable, reactive, distributed systems. Eran's specialties include getting things done. :) In his free time, and sometimes at work, he enjoys building and contributing to open source projects.

Omer Herrera is a hands-on engineer focusing on web technologies, with a diverse background that spans both industry and research. He loves learning new technologies/languages, dealing with all web technologies, and creating things that are useful for others.

Yuri Kalinin is a software engineer at AppsFlyer for the last three years with experience as a functional programmer, alongside object-oriented, working with a diversity of clouds, and monitoring stacks. His core expertise is writing libraries consumed by developers including Go, Clojure, Javascript, Java and Python. Prior to AppsFlyer, Yuri was an engineer at Mellanox Technologies, has extensive experience with networking, verification, QA, as well as being a Fullstack and DevOps engineer.

Gilad Katz serves as VP R&D at AppsFlyer, bringing 12 years of experience in both technology and product leadership, building teams in both consumer and big data startups. Prior to AppsFlyer Gilad served as CEO of Zone an early stage startup building a unique and tech savvy social network (part of Zone's team joined AppsFlyer and are the core team of the Kiev office). He also served as VP Engineering at Taykey and VP R&D at Everything.Me. Gilad lives in Herzliya with his wife and 2 young kids.

Elad Leev    

Elad Leev is a platform engineer with more than 5 years experience managing complex production operations, with expertise in distributed systems and databases. Elad likes to solve complex problems around delivering real time infrastructure in perpetual growth, and maintains some of the core pieces of large-scale production architecture serving 70B+ events daily. Some of the technologies Elad works with include Kafka, Aerospike, Redis, Memcache, and he programs in Python and Go.

Mr. Reshef Mann is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Technology Officer of Appsflyer Ltd. Mr. Mann worked on various web technologies and distributed systems in Intel, SAP and startup companies like Jajah (acquired by Telefonica) and Xsights for 10 years. He holds a BSc in Information Systems from the Technion.

Igor is a software engineer at Appsflyer. He especially likes to solve complex problems requiring non-obvious approaches from Stack Overflow. He loves to search and finds possible code optimizations, making it possible to squeeze the maximum out of the machine, and improve performance by orders of magnitude. Igor enjoys talking about IoT, Smart House, and Machine Learning. Igor cannot survive the winter without visiting a ski resort.

Vladimir Mevzos is an experienced DevOps with about 10 years experience. He pass a long way with metrics and alerting from MRTG,Cacti to Zabbix,Nagios and to more modern Sensu/Graphite stack,fan of "Measure Everything" concept . He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Math. Before Appsflyer, Vladimir worked with bond-trading systems and financial analysis. On his free time he loves to play Chess and Go, travel and spend time at the nature.

Yigal Pinhasi is a Big-Data developer with an extensive background as a backend developer on Telecom, VoIP, IT-Services, Fintech, AdTech &, Mobile Analytics domains. Like to programm, design & build reliable, scalable and advanced solutions using top-noch technologies & architectures.

Asy Ronen is a seasoned software architect and developer, who specializes in building large-scale distributed and highly concurrent systems. Over his 15+ year career he has gained expertise in large data storage solutions including NoSQL/NewSQL and analytic solutions. Aside from architecting for scale and performance, Asy is known to drive ambitious technological roadmaps and lead the development effort towards achieving these goals. He is a seasoned speaker and blogger.

Nir Rubinstein is a multidisciplinary developer who utilizes various programming languages and technology stacks. His main passion is building robust and scalable infrastructure solutions on the Server Side. Good code and new technology are Nir's sweet spot, alongside modeling, designing and implementing concurrent and distributed infrastructure solutions built to handle today's amount of Big Data and extreme traffic. Nir's go-to methodologies are functional programming languages and paradigms, queues, and async communications to power web-scale.

Maxim Shoustin is a Mobile Development Team Leader at AppsFlyer. Prior to joining AppsFlyer, Maxim worked as a FullStack developer for more than 6 years in startups and big companies. His first foray into mobile development was with Symbian, in 2010 when they still dominated the market, and of course transitioned to more popular OSes with the mobile market evolution. Today, he develops enterprise-grade SDKs across a diversity of mobile operating systems - from Android, to iOS through Cordova, Unity, React-Native among others. Maxim leads the Mobile Team that develops an SDK providing app installation and event recording functionality as part of AppsFlyer's holistic mobile attribution suite of products. The AppsFlyer SDK runs on more than 7 billion devices as a native SDK for Android and iOS and most of the popular plugins. Maxim makes it a priority to empower people and mentor them, some of which he does through StackOverflow as a top contributor, aiming to help others by sharing from his experience.

Zohar Stiro is a technology enthusiast, and an experienced engineer that has been in the realms of big data engineering for the past 8 years. He currently is part of the Platform Group at AppsFlyer leading the batch processing infrastructure, alongside the raw data flow on top of it. Zohar's main focus is recovering from years of technical debt and bringing the system to a state of stability while setting the building blocks for the future of big data processing.

Ran Tavory     

From bits in the database to bits of PNGs, Ran is a full stack developer with interests ranging from slick and responsive web interfaces, nosql, web infrastructure, scaling, deployment automation, continuous deployment, programming languages, open source enthusiast (a contributor and creator of several projects). Ran also leads the popular podcast and conference.

Yulia Trakhtenberg is the Data Group Manager at AppsFlyer, with more than 15 years of experience in software development (both backend and frontend), including requirements, architecture, design, coding, testing, quality and customer issues, and nearly a decade of team management and empowerment. Yulia's expertise is around combining deep technical knowledge with understanding of product, business and customer needs. Some of the "ologies" she likes to dapple in are: Clojure, C++, Ruby, Web, Big data, Java, PHP, NoSQLs, Redis, MySQL, and agile, scrum, automation, management, recruitment, team empowerment.

Olena has been a backend developer since 2015 across multiple industries from telecom, to advertising, and automotive. Her specialization is with JVM languages: Java, Scala, Groovy, Clojure. Today she is a Software Engineer at AppsFlyer, in the Data Group. Her main interests include functional programming and Big Data processing.

Liza Wainblat is an experienced software manager with over 15 years of experience with specialization in scalable, distributed, performance-oriented systems. Liza has a history of releasing successful solutions in the networking, storage and web areas at companies like F5, Alvarion, CheckPoint, and today at AppsFlyer. During the last years Liza built an infrastructure knowledge base enabling a smooth transition for any product from first release to stable and successful production-grade, all the while enjoying the process. Liza also likes writing, and is an author of the book "One Funny Day" about the humor of everyday life.

Sharone Zitzman is a marketing technologist and open source community builder, who likes to work with teams building products that developers love. Having built both the DevOps Israel and Cloud Native Israel communities from the ground up, she spends her time finding the places where technology and people intersect and ensuring an excellent developer experience, backed by a culture focused on engineering excellence and quality.
