Steps to reproduce

  1. Select Add podcast in the sidebar
  2. Search for any podcast you haven't subscribed yet
  3. Click on an Episode and start playing the preview
  4. Open the audioplayer screen (The one from the slide up) and click on the podcast name.

Expected behaviour

It opens the screen of the podcast.

Current behaviour

It does nothing, also not explaining why it wouldn't be able to show the podcast right now.

That's not a bug, that's an inherent property of RSS. If you take an episode without subscribing to the podcast, that episode has no "home". However, your use-case will be solved by #7098 which subscribes to the podcast automatically if you start a preview (but doesn't show that it is subscribed so it looks like you only accessed the episode)

Ok that makes sense. I guess I need to read up on RSS then.

However, even if that is how RSS works it is unintuitive, and probably even much more for people that aren't technical.
Anyway, excited to see that it will be fixed.
