Problem you may be having, or feature you want:

It is not possible to search episodes based on a keyword in title or description from all podcast episodes (even the ones that you are not subscribed to). Podcast addict & Podcast Republic have this feature. Lets say if you want to see all episodes that contain the word "duck dynasty" you can search for it. It is under search & episodes. It's like the option to find new podcasts but instead of looking in the podcast title, it will give you results based on episode info.

Suggested solution:

Add the option to search from episodes based on title, description from ALL podcasts (even the ones that you are not subscribed to). And have an option to sort results based on date, relevance, name.

Sorry. It's not the same at all. The one you closed is about "SEARCHING for episodes based on a term (from all podcasts - subbed or not subbed)", the one you kept is "LISTENING to a episode in specific podcasts (that you aren't subbed to)". Completely different features.

Well, searching does not really help when you can't listen to the search results. #4710 is generally about handling episodes of non-subscribed podcasts.

Hi guys, please I'd just like to know what is the implementation status of this functionality. I saw that this request was closed, but the possibility to search for episodes in podcasts that we aren't subscribed seems not to be working. This is a common and handful feature in other podcast aggregators (Castbox, Google Podcasts, etc) that allows to find specific new episodes through search terms. It'd be essential if AntennaPod also offered this kind of feature.
