Ability to blacklist/turn-off/override certain snippets available here

Hi, please correct me if I'm not aware of this functionality. I'd love to use most of these snippets provided here, however, I hope to blacklist/turn-off/override some of the snippets here, is it possible?

Uhm so overriding is easy since you just need to redefine a snippet with the same key (and make sure it's loaded after so in the right place in the yas-snippet-dirs variable).
Blacklist/turn-off however I'm not sure tbh, it would be more of a yasnippet feature and I didn't find anything related to that from a quick look.
It can be done I guess should not be so hard but not sure if it's already possible.

Hmmm, I see. Unfortunately I had a look at the yasnippet repo, the maintainer hasn't been very responsive to the issues over there.
