Regular battery drain after every couple of days. #796
Comments
Lets start by the crash report you get when clicking the log button :D |
Hi friend, this is not an amazmod bug, but an adb bug. After installing/upgrading some apk on watch adb hangs and, after some time, starts to consume/drain battery.
We recommend that, after ANY package upgrade/install you do a "Clean Memory" in amazmod options or, better, reboot your watch.
About crash when trying to generate logs on phone side, we need an logcat. Can you do that, please?
Regards!

Thanks diotto, I will keep that in mind. Where can I find the crash report? You mean doing adb logcat and pull it out of my device? |
Ok I rebooted my device and used it regularly, without initiating adb, installing apps or doing anything special. Just normal step counting. Today after like 2-3 days it drained 45% of battery overnight in airplane mode. I am currently uninstalling AmazMod service and I will check if the issue reappear without it. |
If you have too much APK watch face installed on your watch, I suggest to delete and keep only one installed for time and maybe try to use with a stock wf or a wfz and delete the other APK to test if problem persists |
@Medard22 any news with the drain? |
If you have an apk watchface try to remove and maybe wipe your watch |
Hello guys, I noticed a weird bug that occured to me 3 times already, usually in the middle of the night. The watch stops recording heart rate and sleep data and the battery start draining very fast. The launcher and apps runs normally. It is fixed by rebooting the watch, at least temporarily. I noticed this bug first after updating stable vetsion to dev builds of Amazmod. I also tried to access logs in the Amazmod app in my phone, but tapping on logs make the app crash.
I also leave my watch in DND and Airplane mode during the night to save battery.
