We have some trouble about local.sh. During apt install we store main variable in debconf and save only a subpart in local.sh
Actually we have two official source to manage AlternC variable. Between users witch update only local.sh and lost some configuration after an dpkg-reconfigure, variable missing in local.sh as #310 we have different trouble about this.
As we have choice to be only debian compliant, I propose to remove local.sh and use only debconf as unique source.
