Mail is a protocol that in itself is not totally private, secure, or anonymous, please provide the option of registration without email for users with higher threat models, the majority of users of your application are interested in the whole issue of open source and online privacy, so an important sector would appreciate this option.

Solution: Registration using the public key/private key mechanism, other applications such as Nostr or Session use that method when a user tries to register

Additionally, registration with a public key/private key will allow faster registration than registration using Mail and password or username and password.

It's a dating platform. Do users with "higher threat model" really use such a service? Most of your data will be public.

It is not a standard dating application, it is an open source dating application, focused on privacy, people with fear of proprietary software and mass spying will use this app, that is a dating application and that you have to give personal information to the person you are talking to does not mean that you want to have to trust your email provider, you may only trust the application's processing of your data and not any provider of the obsolete communication standard called email.

Also, I believe that most profiles should be verified to avoid fake accounts and add more security to the app.
I'm concerned about how beneficial it would be to add more ways to create anonymous accounts versus the security issue for most users.
