Environment

  • Environment: Staging(Pre-release)\Production
  • Last git commit: aaaaaa
  • Platform: Web Desktop\Web Mobile\Electron\PWA\TWA
  • Browser: Chrome\Edge\Firefox\Safari\Others

How to repro

  • Step 1: Log in to the same account in two devices at the same time.
  • Step 2: Make both device viewing the home page.
  • Step 3: Send a message to any of the conversations.

And then, a red dot will appear on the other device.

Expected situation

I expect that, now the message is just sent by me. There shouldn't be a red dot.

Other information

I guess to complete solve this issue, server side changes may be required.

When you are in a group, and many people including you are talking in it, you can never know how many messages you missed on the other device, without calling API.

Just leave this issue open and do nothing until server support a message read event.
