I third this. After all the usual installs to fix the "build failed" problem with standalone AhMyth APK's and the problem selecting an original APK to bind with, nothing works on the GUI at all, the install fixes I used always worked up until now for me

after npm installing electron and switching to openjdk-8-jdk via "update-alternatives --config java" to fix the "build failed" problem with standalone AHMyth APK's, I had to also npm install electron-rebuild & electron-nightly (which used to be electron@nightly)

The problem I find is with electron-nightly, everything else without electron-nightly works except for when I choose an apk to bind with, the window opens and I can select the apk, but nothing happens upon selecting it, and with electron-nightly installed the buttons dont work at all, I can't build an apk I can't do anything

I am unable to use the buttons as well. Have tried with openjdk 8, electron, electron-rebuild, electron-nightly and nothing. No button functionality.
