how can i get the layer image info from uxp

Issue description: I need to get Layer image data like base64 or arrayBuffer, I saw the saveAs method in Document, so I can save the Document as png and use storage.file.read method to get the arrayBuffer, but not support in Layer. is there a way to get it?
