Filter Update error #2279

Prerequisites

  • I am running the latest version
  • I checked the documentation and found no answer
  • I checked to make sure that this issue has not already been filed

Issue Details

  • AdGuard version:
    • 4.5.2(1010)
  • Device model and storage size:
    • iPhone 13 128GB
  • Operating system and version:
    • 17.2.1
  • Browser or App:
    • Safari

Expected Behavior

Filters update normally and tell me how many were updated.

Actual Behavior

Constantly getting filter update error. I even tried resetting the app and I still get filter update error with the stock filters.

I even reset the app and use the stock filter config but I still get filter update error.

@jimmysofat6864 Thank you for reporting!

We would like to take a look at the logs from your device.
Please follow the steps below to help us investigate this issue.

  1. Open Settings --> General --> Turn Advanced mode on --> Advanced settings --> Turn Debug logs switch on;
  2. Reproduce the issue and remember the exact time when it happened;
  3. Open the settings --> Support --> Export logs;
  4. System popup will be opened --> Choose "Mail" app;
  5. Enter apple@adguard.com as a recipient;
  6. Mention this issue number in the subject and add the time the issue was reproduced at.

Logs sent suggestion to reinstall AdGuard didn't work at all.

@jimmysofat6864 Thank you, we have examined your logs and found the root cause.
This issue will be fixed in the feature versions.

As a temporary solution, please reboot your device and try updating the filters again.

@jimmysofat6864 Could you please disable all filters except for filters provided by AdGuard and try to check for updates again?

Can I mail my logs? The odd thing is that my ipad doesn't get the filter update error message. Only my iphone.
