Consider Aggressively Caching API data in short term

We should consider aggressively caching our api data right now, 1) we can, because the data set it fairly small 2) api calls when having to first open box can take 30 secs to return, this would make them 200ms 3) would hold us over until implement new api infra in a few weeks, because this is not a medium/long term solution
