Additional context
I'm a Chinese user and I'm using a proxy to use Organice and Dropbox. Could it be the reason for the PWA installation problem?

I'm not using a proxy. I can confirm this on a Nokia 7 plus with Android 10 in Chrome 107.0.

However, on Firefox for Android, I do see an "Install" button.

Although,

  1. I'm not 100% sure if the organice app is not already installed in Chrome(?). At least, organice not on my home screens and not in the apps menu.
  2. I tested only on https://organice.200ok.ch/sample – but it should be same as if connected to Dropbox etc.

Yeah, I confirm that Firefox has the install button.
But after "Add to home screen", it seems both of them don't have the offline support features.

@JackTheMico Thank you for checking out organice 🙏

Listing the directories is not part of the offline support functionality. It could be, but nobody implemented it, so far. Here's what's supported: https://organice.200ok.ch/documentation.html#offline_support

Since installing the PWA works for FF, I'll change the title of this Issue to Chrome. This issue will have to be tackled by someone using Android/Chrome. I don't own such a device, so I cannot do it.
