i want to change the permissions to my public repository to prevent from other people that not me to accidently change or delete my script files that i uploaded and i don't find the way to do this

People that are not invited for collaboration is not able to make changes to your repository.

But if you want to make your repository private go to Settings -> Change repository visibility (at the bottom of the page) and make this private.
