I recently received my first monthly sponsor from my generous supporter. However I am confused with the amount and currency I received.
On the monthly estimated in income, it shows $1.00, and I guess it means US dollar. But If I convert it back to HKD and compare it to the value shown in estimated monthly income, it doesn't matches the exchange rate of USD to HKD.
My sponsor was received on 9th January, and according to the exchange rate on that day or even the time I made these screen captures, it should be around $7.81 HKD.
However, both the sponsor dashboard and stripe dashboard is saying that I will be receiving only $1.80 HKD (around $0.23 USD) instead of $7.81 HKD.
I am wondering what is the exchange rate used, and is there any fixed charge on using GitHub sponsor? And is there anyway that I can have the payout in USD instead to avoid any loss on currency exchange or charges?
