Stop disabling buttons when there are unfilled required fields.

User wouldn't know what field is missing if you don't tell them what field is missing. When the green button is disabled, how would user know which field is missing? They'd have to go thru every field again. Green button should still be clickable, then when clicked, highlight the invalid fields. It'd be even better if the page would also be scrolled to the invalid fields.

Side note: Adding a red asterisk doesn't help at all. All fields presented should be required, then mark the fields that aren't required as optional.
