Trying to install GitHub in my Visual Studio 2022 IDE. I went to the Extensions window in Visual Studio, selected to install "GitHub Copilot Completions" and "GitHub Copilot Chat", closed Visual Studio, and accepted all in the Extensions windows to compleet the installation of the Extensions.
Then I opened Visual Studio again, and I can see that "GitHub Copilot Chat" is installed, but "GitHub Copilot Completions" is not installed (it is not in the "Installed" tab). It also appears to be not working when I try to use Copilot in the source code window.
Finally, I went back to the Extensions installation page, select "GitHub Copilot Completions" again (it appears with the "Install" button, although "GitHub Copilot Chat" has the Uninstall button), close Visual Studio, and the Extensions window appears correctly. However, I received a message saying "The extension is already installed to all applicable products".
Conclusion: It seems that the "GitHub Copilot Completions" Extension is installed, but it does not appear in the list of installed Extensions and it does not work. Also, I cannot Uninstall it.
Using Visual Studio 2022 Enterprise 64-bit version 17.9.6 in a full patched Windows Server 2022 Standard computer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
