Hi all
I always wanted to have a slightly more flexible New Level dialog. I finished the basic work and it looks like this:
In the screenshot above, the upper region shows available templates showing also with icons. The user can choose which template to use.
The current used default template is located in:
O3DE/Assets/Editor/Prefabs/
This path and the Default_Level.prefab file are hard-coded into code.
I changed it so that the new dialog looks into that folder for all existing *.prefab files.
If a icon of one *.prefab is in the same folder exists (using same filename but with *.png extension) it will use
that as an icon.
The O3DE/Assets/Editor/Prefabs/ subfolder for the imagine above looks like this:
Basic.prefab
Basic.png
Default_Level.prefab
Default_Level.png
Empty.prefab
Empty.png
