Moved to Project: Add Plaid for automated bank syncing #754
Comments
Please also consider GoCardless for EU |
TIL. How does that work out? |
Just want to add, that GoCardless is also free for self hosters |
Yep, it'll be integrated eventually: #141 This is purely about US/CA coverage for the time being. |
I spun up a self hosted version and I dont see the option to add accounts via Plaid. I may be misunderstanding the wording here but this is implemented for self hosted users or not yet? |
This issue is still open. It has not been implemented |
I'm going to close this issue as I've organized all of the deliverables for this in a project linked below: |
@zachgoll Issues serve a community purpose as lightning rods for particular features or problems. A non-implemented feature closed at "completed" may cause more headache than it solves 🤔 The community can't comment on draft project items unfortunately. My $0.02 |
@douglasg14b this will not be the norm. We've been going through a ton of project management iterations and needed to move things around. You can check out the new guide to see how we'll be running it moving forward: https://github.com/maybe-finance/maybe/wiki/Project-Management-and-Release-Cycle I've updated the issue title as I agree this can lead to confusion. And in regards to issue commenting—those draft issues have not been scoped out quite yet. Once they're ready, we'll convert the drafts to issues that can then be discussed. |
Plaid will be used in the hosted version of Maybe and with Plaid's new pay-as-you-go option, it's also now accessible to individual self-hosters.
We'll be prioritizing this as the primary way for US and Canadian banks to import data.
This will lay the groundwork for adding other data providers.
