I understand that it's the users responsibility to ensure you're choosing the correct drive and there are good checks to make sure, but I wondered if it would be possible, similar to .nomedia to avoid scanning for media, if a file could be placed in the root of a drive to make it not detectable in balenaEtcher. I know I'd personally use it to avoid accidents.
