When replacing a character in a scene with a different character, you may prefer to keep the body's Material Editor changes for the replacement character.

e.g.
a glowing iris (emission texture+slider),
an exaggerated blush (overtex2 texture + slider),
a missing tooth (tooth texture alphamask)
a swollen slapped cheek (blush and V+ shaders for displacement),
various comic/reaction faces that would depend on adding extra facial creases (V+ displace or overtex or dupe material),
oily/shiny skin for a beach/pool scene (specular color/slider shenanigans),
an 'outie' belly button & linea nigra for pregnancy (V+ displace & duped material)
bloodied hands (duplicated cf_m_body material with transparency & texture),
V+ KKPrim settings specific to the scene because of the lighting direction/angle,

and lots of other possibilities.

If there was a way to toggle persistence for some/all body edits like RendererEditor has, the above would be possible without having to manually copy-edit each change, every time you replace a character.

For scene distributors, this would mean that people could substitute with their favourite characters without having to redo the edits... which casual user certainly might struggle with.

Yes, you could technically add all of these to the SkinEffects plugin instead, but that would just limit options to the ones released by the plugin.

I know it won't be a minor undertaking, but please consider adding this feature to enhance the studio experience!
