BepInEx is not working

What happened?

When i run the .sh file (im on MacOS) the game opens i close it when im in the menu but when i see in the BepInEx folder there's only the core folder WHY?

Steps to reproduce

1:I put the files of BepInEx Unix ver. in my game folder 2:I writed the .app of the game 3:i executed the chmod command on the .sh file 3:i runned the .sh 4:on the menu i closed the game 5:i went to see if the config and plugins folder are here but no
