Is BepInEx not working in Valheim?

What happened?

I've been trying to mod Valheim and it seem BepinExPack is not liking it.
No mods installed yet.
Just the game with BepinExPack, installed via R2modman (version 3.1.42)
I get the following message.
It booted with previous version of Valheim (stable pre mistlands update).
I've read online that the save data/ world can be corrupted so I made a backup and deleted it.
Still same error.
Vanilla Valheim launched via R2modman works fine.

Is this normal or what can i do?

Also Valheim is Launching from a copy of the steam installation, not from steam instalation itself (damn auto-updates).
