I have to keep re-entering my TV code to link to Smarttube a lot more over the last couple of days.
I updated it, I force stopped it and restarted the TV.
It does it rarely so I just enter the code but today alone was 2 times.
Would it be a problem with my new internet? I had BT but moved to Fibrus which use 2 eero hubs for the WiFi. My TV and phone are always connected to the same 1 in my room but the timing is suspicious.

I am having a similar issue, If my device goes to sleep or is inactive for a while with ST still opened it seems to lose it's connection to the account, After a restart of the device it usually reconnects, Some times it will even reconnect when force stop ST, Yet this doesn't work all the time. I think it has to be something with ST that is losing connection, It doesn't happen with any other app logged in.
I found out my issue was with pi-hole, I had blocked embeddedassistant.googleapis.com by mistake, After unblocking it so far it's working good. Maybe you've done something similar?
