video player makes the app crash

To Reproduce
[my usecase] Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'Yugen Anime (since every other providers are broken)'
2. search for 'Eminence'
3. Click on 'title (for me, season 2)'
4. player 'opens'
5. app crashes

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• Version: 1.4.6

i also saw that generally app doesn't use much memory on settings or discover page;

but when the player is launched, the memory usage shoots up to the moon like 4+ times, sometimes more.
