Unable to find a user with the ID / post edit error

Describe the bug
Logged in users cannot modify own posts nor reply to existing threads.

Unable to find a user with the ID: 1222 / Only community members can participate in this forum. You must register or log in to contribute.

Inside the #_kunena_message table I can see the "ID" (in this case 1222) that reference the message id (not the user id).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Login on a Joomla website (with either Joomla or Kunena login form) as a moderator
2. Open a forum post
3. Press the action button and then the edit button
4. The error shows up

As you can see in the attached picture the user is currently logged-in.
It also happens with the "SuperAdmin" user.

The issue is still present.
If I try to edit a post with my "SuperAdmin" user I get this error message:

Unable to find a user with the ID: 1232

Think the ID number is the post I'm trying to edit (not the user).
