How do I get a static NextJS exported site working on pages ?

https://pratiknborkar.github.io doesn't show 404, but all files in _next/static are shown as 404 where as the files exists at https://github.com/pratiknborkar/pratiknborkar.github.io

Hi , sometimes the error can arise due to the next.config.js file, just check if it is configured properly for static export, and has the correct setting for assestPrefix and basePath , in case they are being used, also make sure that all the import path are correct, and the github pages server the correct branch

in the next.config.mjs file

check these:-

/** @type {import('next').NextConfig} */
const nextConfig = {
  output: "export",
  images: {
    unoptimized: true,
  },
  trailingSlash: true,
};

export default nextConfig;

the output: "export" is mandatory for static export and the trailingSlash: true is for the routes,
according to the nextjs documentation https://nextjs.org/docs/pages/building-your-application/deploying/static-exports
