Summary
For $5/month the donors are placed in SPONSORS.md
For $10/month the donors are placed in SPONSORS.md and at bottom of README.md in a section called "Sustained by Patrons Like You ❤️" or something you think reads nicer.

The placement will last for as long as the entity/person is a recurring donor.

  1. Please create a file called SPONSORS.md and link it to a prominent place in the README.md where people can see it.

At the top place of SPONSORS.md:
tl;dr: Fight the COVID-19 outbreak. ❤️Show your love by making a recurring tax-deductible donation of $USD via OpenCollective.❤️

Then we can place the names of the sponsors and a script to show their badges
Note that the role will change to whatever we call the $5 and $10 dollar tier.

If, for example, the $5 tier are called backers, we use this script.

<script src="https://opencollective.com/:username/collectives.js?role=backer"></script>

For $10 dollar tier we call them Patrons:

<script src="https://opencollective.com/:username/collectives.js?role=patrons"></script>

Please order the tiers in the page from the highest amount donated to lowest.

See docs:

Link SPONSOR.md to README.md in a prominent place at the beginning with eye-catching emojis

Motivation
Why are we doing this?
This will help with our fundraising efforts and fund our infrastructure costs.

What use cases does it support?
It will help us fund our costs as we start to scale. It will also help developers on the project land great jobs during these trying times.

What is the expected outcome?
We will have a section that hosts posting for jobs by contributors.

Possible Alternatives
We can place everything at the bottom of README.md, which would be a good alternative.
Thoughts @whoabuddy ?
