It was a pleasure to sit down with @nopara73 to talk about the long and rigorous work of building Wasabi Wallet. We talked about how Adam discovered free software, and what motivates him to work on Bitcoin Privacy projects explicitly. He could be CEO of Microsoft by now, so why spend his precious time on the likes of JoinMarket, TumbleBit, Hidden Wallet and Wasabi?! Well, free software [just like gaming] is all about solving problems, and who doesn't like fixing the countless broken things in this world...?
Back in the days I was in awe with the potential of Hidden Wallet [but oh mighty it was buggy...], it was invigorating to follow the progress of Wasabi Wallet 1.0, and ecstatic to see the fledgling Wasabi 2.0 emerge as a diamond in the rough. How lovely to take this trip down memory lane!
Without any further ado, I hope y'all enjoy listening to the show as much as I had creating it!! 💚 🧡 🔥 🚀
Thanks to @nopara73 for joining the conversation; @BTCparadigm for the stellar editing; and Yegor Petrov for the artwork!
