hi, Wasabi 1 and Wasabi 2 both use a password, And it is the same password if you're using the same wallet. So you should use the same password as you used for BK and HK wallet on Wasabi 1, use the same now in Wasabi 2. |

The one (and only) Wasabi password gets me to Wallet0 (what does the small white dot mean?). When I select any of the other wallets I get prompted for a password. The logon Wasabi password (that gets me to Wallet0) doesn't work for any of the other wallets. When I was using Wasabi-1 I could click on any of the other wallets and it would show details without a password prompt. Wasabi-2 seems to expect a different password for those wallets. I don't think Wasabi-1 required me to create any other passwords for the additional wallets. Should I try to reinstall Wasabi-1? |

When I was working with Wasabi-1 there was only one password needed to access/work with all 4 wallets (Wallet0, BWK, GBT, HMK). ...
Are you saying this should have occurred during the process of upgrading from Wasabi-1 to Wasabi-2? Entering a blank password (pressing enter/click to open) does not work. Entering the password that works for Wallet0 doesn't work for any of the other (BWK, GBT, HMK) wallets.
The only Wasabi password I know is the one that was created when Wasabi-1 was installed (along with the recovery words). I was able to create the BWK, GBT, HMK wallets, coinjoin, etc.. without creating any more passwords. ex: I could click on BWK, see the red/green entries. Now after upgrading to Wasabi-2 when I click on BWK it prompts for a password. Clicking on Open (blank password) doesn't work, nor does the Wallet0 password work. Are you saying I should have 4 passwords (for the 4 wallets)? or that blank password should somehow work for the BWK, GBT, HMK wallets? How can I regain access to BWK, GBT, HMK wallets? Thank you. |

Oct. 2020 I installed Wasabi-1.1.12.1.
I created Wallet0, recorded password and 12 recovery words.
I created two wallets, BK and HK with ~ 1 BTC ea.
Apr. 2024 loged in, confirmed existing balances in BK and HK wallets. I could see one red-marked entry followed by several green-marked entries. I saw the indication of 'new version available' so I installed Wasabi-2.0.6 (no errors or warnings).
I logged in, but now prompted for password to access BK and HK wallets.
When I was using Wasabi-1.1.12.1 I could click on the BK or HK wallets and see the red/green events and what looked like correct BTC amounts (with no password prompts).
I don't have or know any other Wasabi-related passwords other than the password that was setup when Wasabi-1.1.12.1 was installed. I tried the 'Recover Password' option, but it fails.
How can I regain access to the ~2 BTC in the BK and HK wallets? Wasabi-2.0.6 acts like I should have passwords for the BK and HK wallets as well as the initial Wasabi logon password?
Am I not understanding how to work with Wasabi-2.0.6? Should I attempt to restore to an Electrum wallet? I think I have a full system backup as of a couple weeks ago (while Wasabi-1.1.12.1 was working). Should I try to restore that system backup?
Any suggestions on how to proceed would be most appreciated.
