Coinjoin fees = coordination fees + mining (network) fees UTXOs of 0.01 BTC or below don't pay coordination fees, but they do pay mining fees in each round they participate in. https://docs.wasabiwallet.io/FAQ/FAQ-UseWasabi.html#what-are-the-fees-for-the-coinjoin |

0.01 BTC is suggested as the minimum total balance before coinjoining. This is because coinjoining breaks your balance down into multiple UTXOs, and each UTXO costs a marginal fee to create as an output and and another fee to spend as an input in a future transaction. So, you wouldn't want to coinjoin with a small balance since it would break it down into even smaller UTXOs, costing you a relatively large percentage of your balance in mining fees. You are correct that there is no 0.3% coordinator fee charged since your input is 0.01 BTC or lower. Keep in mind that this fee waiver applies to each individual UTXO, not the total amount you coinjoin. So, for example, if your wallet has inputs for 0.005, 0.0075, 0.002, and 0.008 BTC (a total of 0.0225 BTC), you could coinjoin the entire amount without paying the coordinator fee since each individual coin is worth 0.01 or less. |
