Hello, dear Wasabi Wallet Support Team, I am trying to figure out if there is any way to turn the application off when I am not using it so that nobody who gets access to my Laptop can interfere with the wallet - and I cannot find such optionality. Is it only done via the Settings whereby I turn it On to not run in the background? And are the funds kept safe even if the device is compromised because the sending of the funds will necessarily demand entering the password? Thanks in advance! Looking forward to hearing from you! Yes.
Yes sending funds require typing the password, so your wallet is somewhat protected, but anyone controlling your device can install some keylogger to get your password and then transfer your funds. |

In the tray, right click on the Wasabi icon and shut it down. |

It is not shuttable from there on Windows OS at least. It gives the option
of Close Window, but that doesn't turn it off unless I make some functions
ON in the internal settings.

So, the best way of using the wallet would be to keep the application
uninstall untill and unless it needed to make a transaction?

What do you mean? If compromising access to the computer opens up a path to
compromise the password, then why not uninstall it?

No no need to uninstall, you can either keep Wasabi running in the
background to coinjoin, or you can close it completely and open it when you
need it.
