Do you think there might be an additionnal virus risk when using TOR ?

Hello,
I saw this thread on Reddit, saying that there might be a virus in the Tor File ( https://www.reddit.com/r/WasabiWallet/comments/xm4sm9/my_funds_disappeared_from_wasabi/?rdt=53322 ). I found the thread suspicious and think it might be a threat made up by a competitor, but i'd like to know what you think of that.

We use the official tor binaries, you can check the hashes. This kind of files can easily be false positives for antiviruses, this is actually pretty common. In cases where users lost funds, there are basically 3 cases:

• User is lying for some reasons, as you mentioned.
• User has unfortunately been phished or social engineered in some way, even if he claims he wasn't.
• There is a synchronization problem due to weird cases in the blockchain and the mempool management where the user visually sees that some of his funds were sent while in fact they are still in his wallet. Resync solves the issue.
