I run the installation on a linux arm box but got an illegal instruction error.

Reproducing

npm install -g zeromq --build-from-source
/usr/lib/node_modules/zeromq/build/Release/zeromq.node 

Illegal instruction (core dumped)

Tested on

OS: Linux 799fa0ad2991 6.1.29-0-virt #1-Alpine SMP Wed, 17 May 2023 14:22:15 +0000 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux
ZeroMQ.js version: 6.0.0-beta.17
