Does not work with Angular 1.2.7

I cannot seem to get animations working with 1.2.7. When I try to animate by attaching one of the classes to a div nothing happens. I also tried the syntax found in the examples page. Can anyone confirm this works with 1.2.7 and if so give me an example. Thanks!

This does not work with Angular 1.2.6 either. It broke all of my unit tests after I followed instructions to bower install angular-animate and then I did bower install ngAnimate-animate.css --save. Bower install angular-animate kept on asking to install Angular 1.2.16 for it to work.
