npm is meant for all things, which is why angular has all of their packages on there. No, Bower does not work [well] with browserify... it has a debowerify transform but it isn't that great.
It isn't difficult to publish to npm. I can do that if you would like. I ask because I don't want to randomly "take" the package name on npm. I can include you as a contributor in npm so you would be able to publish as well.
can you add a package.json and publish to npm?
This way it can be used with browserify/cssify.
