As discussed in issue #76, this project lacks a maintainer to merge features from community members. Oath (Yahoo's parent company) doesn't have anyone to maintain this internally anymore, but we'd be happy to hand it off to community leadership so it doesn't become stale.

@rahiel has expressed interest in maintaining it to add python3 support and potentially a REST interface. I'm inclined to grant write/admin permissions to do so unless someone objects.

I also want to open this up to anyone from the community who has an interest in this so we can discuss it here. There are a lot of minor PR's that could be merged fairly easily, and I'm sure there are other features some of you would like to build. I'll leave this issue open for a week to give time for this discussion.
