xorg crash?

everything works fine till i turn on the motionplus as mouse source. Ubuntu and Kubuntu (same on both) will log out and NOT allow me to log back in unless the wiimote is NOT connected.

Re-connecting after the re-log gives the same response. xorg crash !

This is happening to me too. Using Kubuntu 17.04. When adding MotionPlus as a mouse source in the xwiimote config, and then establishing a bluetooth connection from the desktop, I am then logged out to the KDE Plasma login screen. From there I can see that the Wiimote can be used as mouse input, but when I attempt to login the screen turns black and then returns to the Plasma login prompt.
