As we first wanted to prototype with stencil we didn't add any tests. However, now we decided to use it as a standalone package we need to add some test to the project for quality and assurance.

I recommend here probably to focus in e2e testing , is much more easy using stencil.I usually do unit tests to in my projects but i really trust in e2e and ionic team is focusing in the e2e to.
