This issue tracks changes to input/output functions for easier implementation.

  • move io to yocto_io.xxx
  • implement ply directly in pbrt
  • implement ply and obj output directly in shapes
  • consider implementing ply and obj input directly in shapes
  • consider removing fast_float dependency
  • Remove support for Obj extensions
