Renaming the folder via FTP client and then re-installing

Deactivating all other similar plugins
Nothing seems to work. I would need to completely uninstall Adminimize and then fresh install. Could you perhaps tell me how to do this? Where can I delete the database left overs from a WP uninstall of the plug-in? I cannot access the plug-in "Settings".
Appreciate any help you can provide.

On default, remove the plugin via back end will also remove the options. So you should remove the adminimize directory in wp-content/plugins completely. After this install new via back end, default.
However please check before, like via plugin Members, that you have the right capabilities. Your user role in this site of the Multisite must have the capability manage_options. This is the only check to the access.
