Table with multiple-line cells not translated properly

Problem statement

Multiple lines in a table cell are translated into markdown text lines instead of one line with <br> tags in between.

This problem is more complicated than it seems. I've already tried to approach it a couple of times, but it looks like the solution requires a significant change in the way tables are processed in the godown library.
