Describe the bug

A merchant whose client owns a retail store and uses Square for their Store wanted to sync some products to their site since all products cannot be purchased online (For example, a bottle of water). Adding products to another location in Square or removing SKUs for some products was not an option so they were not happy that they could not exclude some products from syncing.

It would be nice to have an option or a code snippet that can help merchants like this prevent some products from importing or syncing.

To reproduce

Try excluding some products from Square sync.

@imodouglas just to clarify, is the user trying to exclude products from being imported from Square to their site? If yes, then at the moment there is no way to exclude a product from being imported. Once imported, the user can go to their site and uncheck the "Sync with Square" checkbox in the product edit screen to prevent further sync (Manual or Interval sync).

Hi @Sidsector9, while this a good workaround, I don't think this is a viable option for a case where a merchant owns a large convenience store with a good number of products that cannot be sold online but can be sold in their store. If this merchant wants to also link Square to their, they would need to keep sync active because of inventory changes when purchased from the store, or else they could get orders for products that are out of stock.
