Is it possible to export all the code to a .exe file, so I can send it to my friends to show my project :)

See https://windowjs.org/download for a ready-to-use .exe. Is that what you meant, or did you mean something else?

I mean something else. Normally you run your code by doing windowjs.exe myApp.js, but I want to be able to export my app to a single .exe file (example: myApp.exe) that includes:

• WindowJS library
• My code

This way, I can send my project to someone without showing him/her my code

That's possible if you build Window.js:

1. Build Window.js as documented here: https://windowjs.org/dev/checkout
2. Make sure that the build works :-)
3. Running windowjs.exe will show the welcome page. This is src/default.js in the sources: https://github.com/windowjs/windowjs/blob/main/src/default.js
4. Replace src/default.js with your (packed, minified) sources and rebuild. That's it!

Note that the current build embeds only one source; if you have multiple files then you'll have to combine them.

If you have external assets then they'll have to be inlined. Here's an example that embeds an icon:

Supporting this in general is something that I'd like to have for Window.js eventually:

• Supporting packaged resources in a zip file, and then running windowjs.exe stuff.zip. All the filesystem functions would look inside the zip first, for relative paths.
• Supporting embedding that in the binary, by replacing the data bytes for a given symbol.

The first is very doable today. The second is possible to build but will break code signing; if you generate your own .exe then it's up to you to digitally sign it, if needed.
