Expend on doubleClick and on Single click send to next activity

I followed this and completed the homescreen with gridview. but i want to expand child on double click and on single click user will go to next screen. how can i achieve that?

Because which is a gridview, if you want to doubleClick, I think you can define your own double click event on the ItemView
