No consistency in AWS region references #7292

In PR #7145 it was requested to include a new AWS region without considerations about naming consistency with the other available regions.

We should consider referencing AWS regions properly. Maybe using full region names, for example:

Asia Pacific (Singapore): ap-southeast-1
Asia Pacific (Sydney): ap-southeast-2
Canada (Central): ca-central-1
