Hi. I would quickly like to say thanks for all the previous work on this project.
I've been switching between emacs and vscode lately, and I find myself only using emacs for org-mode support these days. I'm a fairly basic org mode user, only using it for writing papers and exporting them to latex
I understand many of the maintainers (such as tecosaur) have either moved on/back to emacs, or are busy with different projects now. I see the commit history over the past is quite low, with only 2 commits over the past two years.
However, I find that this extension, if it implement a few more features, would hopefully fit mine and others needs. I was wondering if this project was stale, or if it is still interested in developing and accepting PR's?
At the minimum, is it possible to finish up and merge a few features with open PR's and create a new release, such as #113 #154 #134 #117
So far what I've been doing is opening emacs in the integrated terminal, and performing actions from there. Its quite slow and cumbersome to say the least.
I would love to continue the project but sadly I have limited knowledge with typescript.

Is this project stale/dead, can there be a new release?

Like a lot of other people here I've since moved to emacs/neovim, though I'd love to see an excellent org-mode implementation in VSCode, sublime text has a great plugin for it and I imagine vscode+org would be a popular, easy to use way to get people into org markup. I'd love to see this project picked up :)
