profiles.yaml missing #536

I've attempted to install this on both Linux and windows and can't find the profiles.yaml file
I get the following error during login.

Warning: the profiles file '~/.vcd-cli/profiles.yaml' could not be open. Using default values.

Linux ubuntu 20.04 with Python 3.8.2
and windows 10 with python 3.8.3

Installed the latest version from pip on both.
any help in getting this going much appreciated.
