I haven't gotten a chance to play with virtphp just yet, but based on the activate script it looks like this is pretty bash centric. Am I on the right track here?

Mostly, it may work in bash clones as well, and any forks of bash. We do expect to (eventually) support Windows, in which case we will have to have batch file alternatives. The script isn't too complicated and could be ported to others (if you need it).

Agreed... unless we don't already have issues for adding other terminal/console support.

Got a quick link to the docs? (It isn't mentioned under the requirements.)

My original reason for asking this is because I use fish.
