IIRC, that is because MiniBufExplorer uses a separate window and does not make use of the tabline. The tabline can only contain a single line |

Hi, just wondering how can we show all buffers in tabline, like MiniBufExplorer? Please see below snapshot. Tabline hides some buffers due to limited space, while MiniBufExplorer wrap the buffer list, so that all buffers are shown there. Can we achieve the same by tabline?
